Bio

babsko is a Polish artist currently living in London. She builds her sets as stories — not planned in advance, but written in the moment. Using breaks, deep and hypnotic techno, trance and bass as tools, these stories grow from thoughts and feelings she is moving through, shaped by the push and pull between herself and the energy of the people around her. The layers drift, collide, and slowly lock into place. Alongside playing, she is currently part of the Copenhagen-based ASSMR, and previously co-ran the trance-techno collective MUDDER. She is particularly interested in music as a language — a way of communicating without words. This is something she explores through her deep listening sessions, Echoes, where participants meet monthly to choose individual tracks around a shared theme and reflect on the thoughts, sensations and emotions they bring up.
