Behrang Mohammadi
Bio
Behrang Mohammadi is a multifaceted DJ and producer, always open to expand his already hefty bag of tricks. With a much broader musical palette than your average electronic selector combined with a flair for surprising the dance floor with golden oddities and quirky combinations, Mohammadi is a truly refreshing addition to the European club scene. For him, nothing is too mainstream and nothing is too obscure. It’s all about timing, precision and a bit of cheekiness. Behrang Mohammadi is the originator of the Berlin-Malmö club initiative TTNoTDB and a co-founder of Spazio Records, he has played a key role in the electronic music scene of southern Sweden for more than a decade. Today he’s one of Inkonst’s most beloved resident DJs while making his way in Berlin club-scene. Mohammadi has shown that there’s a real craving for skilled playfulness in the current dance music environment. Behrang Mohammadi released his first 12” Abdoullah/Mina on his own Spazio label in 2017. He has also mastered and mixed several other records, including Johanna Knutsson’s highly acclaimed album Tollarp Transmissions on Kontra-Musik 2019. Text: Björn Jumme
