Bio

Besides dj'ing Toke is also a producer who has had his fingers on collaborative white label projects as well as independent releases. He has released under his own name on DISR but is mainly focused on his dj project Ryan Dank which is all about organic and sample based funk- deep- and disco house music. Having held residencies at the best clubs in Copenhagen like the infamous, now closed, Dunkel, Jolene bar and Culturebox, as well as having played overseas in various european cities, Toke has been around the block. He has a strong vision and attitude towards music, which is his gateway to mediate energy from behind the booth. He seeks to create a common ground through his music and lives for the special bonds that are created on a dance floor between the artist and the audience. Toke is also behind the former Danish DJ-collective Lovestomp, and is now a part of BGM8S Collective which seeks to serve this purpose by hosting various electronic music events in and around Copenhagen.
