One of Sweden's most interesting and versatile producers and DJs. Welcome to his world of experimental soundscapes, pulsating beats and melancholic touch. The Malmö-based producer has already shown great diversity in production and doesn't plan to stop. Whether it's through his own artist projects, collaborations or commercial work and film scores. Last year, Slackin Beats released his captivating debut album "Off To A Good Start". Genre bending, electronic, Bosnian influences & bass heavy elements. It’s about dreams, my own self-image and what he's willing to do to change it. It features the artists Diane Emerita, Demekech, Rome in Silver, Chamoon, Wilma Holmes & Dámì Sule. He also released two EP's with the Berlin based DJ/artist MOLØ - the first one "Four Lanes" with Traum Schallplatten and the second one "Don't Change" with Studio Barnhus. With all tracks on some beautiful bridge-building business between both producers' respective styles – notably MOLØ's affinity with ethereal soundscapes and Slackin Beats' penchant for boundary-pushing production techniques. He has also received a lot of attention from blogs, radio and award nominations. In addition to his own releases, he has produced music for artists such as Rebecca & Fiona, KURT., Madi Banja, Josef Slunge, Niah Steiner & Rome in Silver. In 2023, Slackin Beats released the "CROOK" EP with Kamohelo (Off The Meds). This 5-track project features British-Nigerian artist/poet Joshua Idehen and artist Lune. With continued comic book inspirations, CROOK is a toxic, violent, exciting alter ego we've created - the perfect villain. Spacey and dreamy sounds along with low hanging vocals. The same year he also released his debut soundtrack for the SF and Netflix film "Forever". A melancholic, electronically driven soundscape with rich and playful synths, chopped vocals and distorted drums. Besides the music projects he's also founder of the non-profit cultural association DIALEKT. Behind Dialekt are experienced organizers and musicians with deep roots in the music scenes of Malmö, Gothenburg, and Montreal. The foundation of the organization is built on years of experience in producing music, organizing concerts, club nights, curating music programming at festivals, and facilitating an international sound art residency. Currently he's working on his collab EP with the Stockholm based artist Nápoles, which will be out next year. It blends intimacy with rhythm, atmospheric melodies and presence. The project exists in a world that is intimate and in constant motion balancing a dreamlike sense of escape.
