Bio

Tino is the alias of Copenhagen-based techno producer Aske Bergstein Nielsen. In his own words, he aims to “provide people with a powerful and euphoric experience, all out of love for that unified feeling only the dance floor can give you”. Like many others artists from the brilliant, booming Copenhagen techno-scene, Tino does not shy away from setting the tempo way above 140 bpm. However, contrary to most of the techno artists emerging from the Danish capital, Tino is heavily influenced by breakbeat and electro. Several of his tracks are driven by non-straight kick loops and polyrhythmic beat structures, as straightforwardly funky as they are mathematically complex and madly engineered.
