In the absence of this year’s festival we find new opportunities for exploration of KUNE’s core essences, a brief distillation of our shared horizons through local collaboration. In collaboration with Jolene and Radio Panini across Friday the 31st of July and Saturday the 1st August, those same dates in which we would have momentarily called the island home, we are curating a weekend of art, panel talks, communal food, and music - all with the aim of capturing both the festival’s spirit and sonic essence. On Friday, a dedication to Space, to the soulbound, groove-centred, the long-form, the minimal. On Saturday, an ode to Vessel, to the progressive, the technical, the exploratory. A different space, the same idea. A collective moment in culture once more.
